We’re looking for a full-time Creative Artworker to join our Farringdon studio, reporting into our Head of Artwork & Production.
We’re after someone with 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role, across print and digital, and who is now ready to learn even more of the craft.
About the role
Our artworkers are big deals in the design process. They scrutinise and finesse every project that leaves the studio, grounding our 15 designers to bring our work into the real world.
Your typical day might include fine-tuning brand guidelines, crafting logos, creating brand assets for print and screen, artworking packaging, or liaising with printers and paper reps. You’ll also keep the studio ticking over technically by archiving files, managing backups and installing software.
Through it all, you’ll solve our daily design challenges using your production experience and creative eye. Your perfectionism will keep us proud of every file we send out and every project that goes live.
You know what makes you an artworker rather than a designer. You’re proud of it. You love the hows and the whats just as much as the whys.
You’re organised and meticulous by default. Creative, but with an unerring eye for detail. That’s what makes you great at what you do. You already proved it in your previous role.
There, you prepared and set files for both digital and print, which gave you an in-depth knowledge of paper stocks and printing techniques. You’re Mac savvy, fluent in the CC suite, and you’re comfortable producing flawless artwork for all kinds of applications.
Importantly you have a good sense of humour, we can count on you to cheer us up even when those unexpected deadlines strike. But you love being a stickler when it comes to spelling and grammar, and will call out our errors or oddities as you spot them.
