Digital Project Manager

Based in our fast-paced studio in Farringdon, you’ll be working with the development, design, strategy and production teams to deliver world-class digital creative for the food, drink, hospitality and lifestyle sectors.

About the role

You’ll be leading the delivery of all digital projects, assist in winning new clients and be instrumental in developing digital strategies for our existing clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project managing clients’ digital campaigns and website builds from initial brief, through to launch, working closely with the digital, creative and account handling teams
  • Working extremely closely with the client to assist in documenting their technical and business requirements and then going on to define and deliver appropriate digital solutions
  • Ensuring that all tasks are scheduled and completed on time and on budget, whilst delivering a world class service at all times
  • Managing the digital development team’s work schedule and being responsible for appointing appropriate freelance resource as required
  • Take responsibility for populating websites with final content via various Content Management Systems and conducting detailed quality assurance testing across multiple browsers and devices
  • Working with the agency’s founding partners to shape and develop the company’s digital offer

Desired experience

You will have all of the following experience:

  • Experience of proposal writing, project scoping, budgeting and timeline planning
  • Experience in delivering world-class digital solutions across multiple platforms (web, mobile, tablet etc.)
  • Experience of site mapping, wire framing and user experience design
  • Experience of launching and working with various Content Management Systems
  • Experience in producing fully responsive websites and HTML email campaigns
  • Experience in managing both digital design and development teams
  • Working knowledge of server side technologies (e.g. .NET, PHP, Java & SQL)
  • Knowledge of client side technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, Sass & JavaScript)
  • A strong understanding of web accessibility, W3C standards and the technical aspects of SEO

Additional responsibilities

  • Work with agency founders on generating new accounts, alongside development of existing accounts
  • Contribute to development of agency processes
  • Develop agency offer to ensure best in class delivery in all areas
  • Provide strategic direction on all Ragged Edge clients
  • Provide technical support to both clients and colleagues

About you

  • 3+ years experience at a brand-led digital or creative agency
  • To be an excellent communicator (written and verbal)
  • To be highly design literate
  • To have integrated experience delivering projects across branding, design, print and digital
  • To understand the unique requirements of a small-medium sized agency
  • To be able to demonstrate a passion for and understanding of the latest trends and best-practice digital design techniques
  • To possess an excellent technical understanding of the entire digital production process
