Office Manager

We’re looking for an Office Manager to join our fast-paced studio in Farringdon. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing agency delivering world-class work across a range of disciplines.

We’re looking for an exceptional candidate to manage the day to day running of our studio and catering for the needs of both visitors and our team of 22 staff.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the office is organised and tidy at all times
  • Ensuring that all meeting rooms and office facilities are clean and ready for use at all times
  • Greeting all guests and visitors in to the studio, catering for their meeting requirements and organising refreshments
  • Answering all incoming calls, redirecting to the appropriate member of the team and taking message as required
  • Ensuring that all office equipment is fully operational and serviced/repaired as required
  • Managing and replenishing stationery supplies as required
  • Managing all post and deliveries in and out of the studio
  • Managing spend with couriers and arranging collections as required
  • Managing our office cleaners, refuse and recycling collection
  • Managing the processing of invoices and purchase orders using the company’s accounting system (Xero)
  • Managing the updating of our weekly schedule of work for our design team
  • Recording all office expenditure and managing the office budgets and petty cash
  • Acting as a PA for the two Company Directors as required
  • Organising regular social events for the team including the company’s Christmas party
  • Managing all travel requirements and making bookings as required

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with the right skills, attitude and experience to deliver a world-class service to our clients and staff. As a close-knit, growing entrepreneurial team, our culture is very important to us. The studio is lively and fast-paced so you’ll need a good sense of humour, an open mind and flexibility to handle an evolving role, combined with an unshakeable work ethic. In addition you’ll need:

  • At least 2 years Office Administrator/Manager experience
  • To be extremely well organised with impeccable time management skills
  • To be a self starter and problem solver
  • To be an excellent communicator (written and verbal) and brilliant with people
  • To understand the unique requirements of a small-medium sized design and branding agency
  • To be IT literate and be comfortable working on an Apple Mac computer
