We’re always on the lookout for exceptional designers who can push the quality of our work to the next level.
We don't hire to fill seats, we hire when we find someone who can genuinely push the quality of what we do and make us better. That means a proven track record of delivering world-class work. You might be a Senior Designer, Design Director or Creative Director. But we're led by portfolios, not job titles.
You have taste. And the quality and craft to back it up. You'll understand the value of idea-driven design and why it matters. You'll have strong opinions, but hold onto them loosely. And you'll be curious about where design is going, ideally already experimenting with emerging technologies and AI in your creative process.
While we have a flexible approach to remote working, we have a studio-first culture. With everyone on the team spending a minimum of 24 hours a week in the studio.
Our standards are high, and we're looking for rare talent. We will only consider designers whose portfolios clearly demonstrate they can match and elevate the standard of our work.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to see your work. We welcome applications at any time.
We want every person to feel as comfortable as possible in this process so here’s a run-down of how it might look and feel.
If there are any doubts you have or any adjustments you need, please just let us know.
Step 1
Online submission
Start by introducing yourself and your experience, explaining why you want to join our team. Please include your CV, and, if you’re applying for a creative role, some examples of your work.
Step 2
Getting to know you
If you’ve caught our attention, we’d love to jump on a call. This will be with a member of the People & Culture Team. A chance for us to get to know you better and understand what it is that excites you most.
Step 3
In-person interview
At this stage, you’ll meet with a relevant Team Head or Manager at our London studio. Giving you a feel for Ragged Edge in the flesh. Here we want to catch a glimpse of how you think and your approach to work, so please bring along some examples to speak through.
Step 4
Final creative share
Following a phone check-in and briefing, you’ll be invited back to our studio to present your creative share. This is an opportunity to take us deeper into your thought processes. As well as the successes and missteps that got you here. Collaboration is key, so we’ll invite 5 or 6 members of different teams to join you in the room too.
Hints for difference
Be authentically you
Your ways of thinking mean more to us than where you worked last. We’re looking for talent at its most genuine.
Know your work
No one does better than you. Prepare to go deep into how you formed an idea or reached a conclusion. We want to be taken along for those rides.
Stay curious
We don’t find difference when we go with the flow. We find it when we ask difficult questions. Think about what you want to know from us and why.
Help us help you
Less of a hint, more of an ask. But could we have done better? Let us know in the feedback sessions. We love to listen.
