Apply yourself

Senior Programme Manager

You’re the reason ambitious work actually gets made. You give people the time, clarity and structure that makes them better at their jobs. You catch the details others miss, and keep the momentum up. When things get ambiguous, you make them clear again. When priorities shift, you stay steady. You’re unflappable and adaptable.

About the role

You'll take ownership of the plan behind some of our most ambitious work, building timelines, resourcing plans and budgets. Working closely with Client Partnerships to effectively deliver projects at scale.

You'll be the connective tissue between creative, strategy, client partnerships, operations and the client. Making sure nothing gets lost in the handoffs, and that everyone knows exactly what's needed and by when.

You'll be the person who translates ambition into a workable plan. Turning what a client or creative team wants to achieve into clear scopes, milestones and the resourcing to make it happen.

You'll manage budgets and margins with rigour, understanding the balance of commercials and creative. You’ll flag early, course correct and solve problems before they need solving.

You'll use AI and smarter ways of working to cut the admin that doesn't need you, freeing up time for the judgement calls that do.

And you'll help raise the standard of programme management across the studio. Bringing better process, sharper thinking and a calmer way of working to the teams around you.

Who we’re looking for

You bring order to ambiguity without ever making the work feel smaller for it. You're meticulous about the details, but you never lose sight of why the project matters in the first place.

You're calm under pressure, comfortable having difficult conversations about scope, time or budget, and confident enough to push back when something doesn't add up.

You're excited to be the person a studio genuinely can't do its best work without.

We're committed to building a diverse, inclusive environment where everyone feels appreciated for who they are and supported in their personal and professional growth. We encourage applications from people who may not necessarily 'fit' the typical mould. We're looking for people who think differently, because we do too.

While we have a flexible approach to remote working, we have a studio-first culture, with everyone on the team spending a minimum of 24 hours (roughly 3 days) a week in the studio.

Step 2
Getting to know you

If you’ve caught our attention, we’d love to jump on a call. This will be with a member of the People & Culture Team. A chance for us to get to know you better and understand what it is that excites you most.

Step 3
In-person interview

At this stage, you’ll meet with a relevant Team Head or Manager at our London studio. Giving you a feel for Ragged Edge in the flesh. Here we want to catch a glimpse of how you think and your approach to work, so please bring along some examples to speak through.

Step 4
Final creative share

Following a phone check-in and briefing, you’ll be invited back to our studio to present your creative share. This is an opportunity to take us deeper into your thought processes. As well as the successes and missteps that got you here. Collaboration is key, so we’ll invite 5 or 6 members of different teams to join you in the room too.

Hints for difference
Be authentically you

Your ways of thinking mean more to us than where you worked last. We’re looking for talent at its most genuine.

Know your work

No one does better than you. Prepare to go deep into how you formed an idea or reached a conclusion. We want to be taken along for those rides.

Stay curious

We don’t find difference when we go with the flow. We find it when we ask difficult questions. Think about what you want to know from us and why.

Help us help you

Less of a hint, more of an ask. But could we have done better? Let us know in the feedback sessions. We love to listen.
