We’re looking for a Strategist at Senior level or above. Someone who isn’t here to play it safe, but is driven by insight and conviction to help brands break from the average.
About the role
We need someone who can confidently lead projects. We’re open to job titles from Senior Strategist and above.
You’ll shape strategic thinking across brand, business and culture, helping define what brands stand for and how they show up in the world.
You must be drawn to big, complex problems that need creative thinking to solve.
You’ll develop original insights and clear points of view, turning cultural observation, research and intuition into sharp strategic platforms. You’re comfortable making leaps and backing them up with rigour.
You’ll take ownership of projects day-to-day, collaborating closely with creative, client partnerships and senior stakeholders. You know how to push briefs, elevate ideas and help good work become great. You win over the trust of your clients, enabling you to sell and execute big ideas while identifying new opportunities for growth.
Depending on your experience, you’ll also help direct strategic output across multiple projects, mentor others, or bring a specialism that helps us evolve our strategic offer. This role has space to grow.
You’re actively seeking out emerging tools and technology, using them to enhance your work to increase the quality, rigour and impact of your strategic output.
While we have a flexible approach to remote working, we have a studio-first culture. With everyone on the team spending a minimum of 24 hours a week in the studio.
We’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive environment where everyone can feel appreciated for who they are and supported in their personal and professional growth. We encourage applications from people who may not necessarily ‘fit’ the typical branding agency mould. We’re looking for creative people looking for something different, because we are too.
About you
You’re a master storyteller, crafting conceptual narratives that showcase the work in the best way possible.
Your talent comes without ego. You see collaboration as a way to make ideas bigger and better.
And you chase your own dreams but want to be part of something bigger.
You’re diligent, positive, and creative. Keen to use a wide frame of reference to generate and strengthen ideas.
Like most strategists, your interests and influences go beyond the world of branding and advertising.
You’re curious about emerging technology, and are able to demonstrate that you're proactive about embracing AI to improve the quality and impact of your work.

We want every person to feel as comfortable as possible in this process so here’s a run-down of how it might look and feel.
If there are any doubts you have or any adjustments you need, please just let us know.
Step 1
Online submission
Start by introducing yourself and your experience, explaining why you want to join our team. Please include your CV, and, if you’re applying for a creative role, some examples of your work.
Step 2
Getting to know you
If you’ve caught our attention, we’d love to jump on a call. This will be with a member of the People & Culture Team. A chance for us to get to know you better and understand what it is that excites you most.
Step 3
In-person interview
At this stage, you’ll meet with a relevant Team Head or Manager at our London studio. Giving you a feel for Ragged Edge in the flesh. Here we want to catch a glimpse of how you think and your approach to work, so please bring along some examples to speak through.
Step 4
Final creative share
Following a phone check-in and briefing, you’ll be invited back to our studio to present your creative share. This is an opportunity to take us deeper into your thought processes. As well as the successes and missteps that got you here. Collaboration is key, so we’ll invite 5 or 6 members of different teams to join you in the room too.
Hints for difference
Be authentically you
Your ways of thinking mean more to us than where you worked last. We’re looking for talent at its most genuine.
Know your work
No one does better than you. Prepare to go deep into how you formed an idea or reached a conclusion. We want to be taken along for those rides.
Stay curious
We don’t find difference when we go with the flow. We find it when we ask difficult questions. Think about what you want to know from us and why.
Help us help you
Less of a hint, more of an ask. But could we have done better? Let us know in the feedback sessions. We love to listen.
