We're looking for a strategist in the making. Brand strategy is about bringing clarity, cultural awareness and compelling story telling to brands, so how you think, collaborate and frame ideas matters to us more than anything on your CV. If you think differently, and want to work in our world, we'd love to hear from you.
About our internship
Don’t feel like ‘the intern’, feel like part of a team. We work across departments, every day, and our interns do too. By the end of your time here, we hope you'll have a sense of what your path as a strategist could look like. You'll be involved in every part of our strategic process and help set new directions for our partner brands.
The strategy internship is a minimum of 8 weeks. It’s full time (5 days a week / 20 days per month), in person, at our studio in Farringdon. We offer £100 – £125/day for your time and contribution.
About you
Difference excites you. You’re naturally curious, and think about things deeply. If you bring a perspective we haven't seen before, even better.
You like knowing how things work, and you're as comfortable with facts and insights as you are with ideas. Ambiguity doesn't faze you, and you can make things simple without making them boring. Maybe your ‘thing’ is research, or writing, or presenting, or storytelling… Maybe it's the confidence to think on your feet and untangle complex challenges. We’ll expect you to put your skills to work, turning research into stories you can confidently share with others.
A relevant degree or portfolio helps, but you don't need either. We don't care what or where you studied, or whether you went to university at all. We care about how you see the world and how open you are to learning.
About us
In an era when agencies prioritise efficiency over impact, we’ve built a brand company with a different approach.
Our world-class reputation is hard-earned. Founded on 19 years of partnerships with global clients who all know what different takes.
Our world-class team is tight-knit. 40+ creative experts brought together from all over the world. No egos and no shortage of ambition.
We want every person to feel as comfortable as possible in this process so here’s a run-down of how it might look and feel.
If there are any doubts you have or any adjustments you need, please just let us know.
Step 1
Online submission
Start by introducing yourself and your experience, explaining why you want to join our team. Please include your CV, and, if you’re applying for a creative role, some examples of your work.
Step 2
Getting to know you
If you’ve caught our attention, we’d love to jump on a call. This will be with a member of the People & Culture Team. A chance for us to get to know you better and understand what it is that excites you most.
Step 3
In-person interview
At this stage, you’ll meet with a relevant Team Head or Manager at our London studio. Giving you a feel for Ragged Edge in the flesh. Here we want to catch a glimpse of how you think and your approach to work, so please bring along some examples to speak through.
Step 4
Final creative share
Following a phone check-in and briefing, you’ll be invited back to our studio to present your creative share. This is an opportunity to take us deeper into your thought processes. As well as the successes and missteps that got you here. Collaboration is key, so we’ll invite 5 or 6 members of different teams to join you in the room too.
Hints for difference
Be authentically you
Your ways of thinking mean more to us than where you worked last. We’re looking for talent at its most genuine.
Know your work
No one does better than you. Prepare to go deep into how you formed an idea or reached a conclusion. We want to be taken along for those rides.
Stay curious
We don’t find difference when we go with the flow. We find it when we ask difficult questions. Think about what you want to know from us and why.
Help us help you
Less of a hint, more of an ask. But could we have done better? Let us know in the feedback sessions. We love to listen.
