Son of a Tailor

Son of a Tailor committed to an engineer’s mindset. With a rebrand to lead a change in the fashion industry.

Son of a Tailor makes clothes to order. By re-engineering the supply chain they’re building a fashion industry better fit for wearers, workers, and the world at large.

We met them as they were scaling across Europe. The brand challenge was twofold. To capture their ambition as a force for change in the industry. And to convey all the benefits of a perfect fit. Without fitting in.

Overview
The partnership

A full rebrand to help Son of A Tailor stand out in an industry built on fitting in. Our work included a collaboration with the in-house team to make the brand real across packaging and the website.

Define

Son of a Tailor isn’t just another fashion brand. They’re reimagining the fashion industry with a groundbreaking made-to-order production model and custom-fit precision. They’re engineers who just happen to work in fashion.

Create

Son of a Tailor’s supply chain solution responds exactly to demand. And so does this identity: adapting to be fit for purpose whether it’s online, on packaging, in comms or in clothing. Visuals have the precision and clarity of an engineer’s eye. Made to match a brand voice that’s exacting but ever optimistic. Because where others see problems, engineers see opportunities for ingenious solutions.

Commit

We worked with the team to relaunch the brand in 2022, helping to develop a new website and distinctive packaging.

The different reality

In the years following the launch, the brand has opened its first store in Copenhagen and shipped over 1,000,000 products. The business continues to innovate, and now insources over 50% of its manufacturing and shipping.

One of a kind

The Son of a Tailor team stayed true to their purpose. This was not about fitting in. Thanks to Andreas, Jess, Michelle, Magnus, Frederikke, Christian, and Adam for your conviction and collaboration. To Andreas Pless who shot the fashion photography. And to Charlie McKay for the lifestyle photography.

This is not the end
