Wise Platform committed to an invisible payments layer. With a new sub-brand built for the boardroom.
Wise moves $150B+ of the world’s money annually. Wise Platform allows banks and large enterprises to tap into that technology, expertise and international infrastructure. Wise is still moving people’s money internationally. Just at a much larger scale. Through the banks they’re already using.
As part of our ongoing partnership, we created a distinctive sub-brand for Wise Platform.
Overview
The partnership
A defined brand architecture for Wise Platform, followed by the creation of a new sub-brand aimed at large banks and enterprises. We continue to work with the Wise team to bring the brand to life across the website, events and more.

Define
We worked with the Wise team to define a new architecture and strategy for Wise Platform. While the master brand works seamlessly for their B2C and B2B products, Wise Platform needed a different approach. An expression of the Wise identity that can read the (board)room.
The idea
Banks and enterprises need an agile partner to deliver capabilities they can’t emulate themselves. Wise Platform seamlessly slots into their operations. Connecting them to a single cross-border network, uploading intelligence and providing a reliable, transparent and future-proofed service. An invisible payments partner.

Create
The sub-brand identity frames Wise Platform as an invisible payments partner. A seamless layer that helps financial institutions connect with Wise. It’s brought to life through an evolved graphic language and a tone of voice built to get business done.



Commit
We worked with the Wise team to bring the identity to life across every touchpoint. From the tools they use to bring on new partners, to sponsorship at global financial events like Sibos in Beijing.



The different reality
Wise Platform continues to secure new partners, including Morgan Stanley, NuBank, N26 and others.
When I saw the design work come to life for the first time at Wise Connect in London last year, it blew me away. It’s grabbed attention across this part of the industry and helps give us a runway to succeed in our mission.




The team
Wise Platform is all about partnership. And its new identity was built on it, leaning on the solid foundations laid by the consumer brand we created in 2023 alongside the 100-strong Wise Design team.
