Our brief

Brindisa have been importing fine Spanish foods to the UK for over 28 years. We launched their first e-commerce website back in 2009. Six years later they challenged us to launch a new site that reaffirmed their position as the authority on Spanish food, while delivering a best in class mobile shopping experience.

Strategy

We worked with Brindisa’s marketing team to define their digital strategy. This led us to a set of KPIs that informed everything we did. Our focus was on creating a simplified, user-centered experience. And on engaging and educating new and returning customers alike.

Website design & build

We created a fully responsive site, showcasing the brand’s premium offer through evocative photography and specially commissioned illustrations. The mobile experience was key. We introduced an innovative filtering feature to help users navigate the broad product range on the move. A powerful recipes section provided customers with a simple way to buy everything they needed to recreate Brindisa’s famous dishes at home.

The site was supported by a series of responsive email templates, alongside a content management and e-commerce platform created bespoke to Brindisa’s requirements.

Outcome

The site delivered a 34% increase in conversion rate in the first three months of launch.
