While other jobs boards were complicated to use, The IT Job Board’s strengths lay in making finding a job simple.


The IT Job Board had a great business, but no coherent brand. They came to us to help them define their position in the market, and to create a new visual identity.

Brand strategy

We immersed ourselves in The IT Job Board’s business, running a series of interviews and workshops with senior management, clients and candidates alike. We realised that in a crowded marketplace, their success came from making their candidates’ and clients’ lives simple. ‘IT Jobs Made Simple’ became a mission statement for the brand and now informs everything they do.

Visual & verbal identity

A paired-back visual identity emphasised simple straight-talking messages and a graphic look and feel. The search icon gave the brand a distinctive marque that would work on all devices.

Brand guidelines

We documented the brand in a full set of guidelines, detailing the positioning, visual identity and an ‘Intelligently Simple’ tone of voice.

Internal signage

The brand was brought to life through environmental graphics in the head office. We introduced an element of direct humour to engage with the IT Job Board’s lively sales team.
